Annabel gained a BA (Hons) degree in English from the University of York, before writing freelance articles for The Lima Times in Peru on social issues such as domestic violence. She published her first novel The Serpent’s Tale in 2009 and is currently writing her autobiography based on her recovery from depression and addiction, as well as mothering two children born with life-threatening syndromes.
Artist
Annabel’s debut art installation The Healing Womb is being held in The Miracles Room, Glastonbury Experience Courtyard, Glastonbury BA6 9DU from 31 July – 5 August 2012.
Self-Development Workshop Tutor
Annabel is a fully-qualified and insured Transpersonal Regression Therapist and Self-Development Workshop Tutor. She has extensive experience of working both in private practice and for a leading mental health charity with sufferers of severe and enduring mental health difficulties.
Speaker/Campaigner
Annabel has an MSc degree in Sociology from the London School of Economics, where her post-graduate research explored the role patriarchal religion plays in women’s rights issues. She delivers talks aimed at raising awareness of these issues, such as violence against women, as well as challenging the stigma associated with mental health difficulties.
